542 Synergic complex of two plant flavonoids as a novel tyrosinase inhibitor

نویسندگان

چکیده

Tyrosinase is a key enzyme in melanin formation. Its inhibition crucial step for hyperpigmentation reduction. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy two plant flavonoids: ellagic acid and glabradin, on tyrosinase as well their whitenning properties vivo. For reason IC50 acid, glabradin mixture reaction estimated. Kojic served reference sample. In addition vivo an emulsion with 14 patients performed. It occured that not typical inhibitor, however containing displayed greater than alone. Moreover complex showed much higher inhibitory activity kojic acid. Mexameter measurnments reduction by 15% after 4 weeks usage. Also estimated evened skin tone reducing visibility 24% (in 5-point analogue scale). Both tested compounds are known from whitening properties. Although but rather alternative substrate according literature. Nevertheless it’s boosting glabradin. conclusion, first time synergy demonstrated. both flavonoids exhibited efficient

Flavonoids as mushroom tyrosinase inhibitors: a fluorescence quenching study.

Flavonoids, a group of naturally occurring antioxidants and metal chelators, can be used as tyrosinase inhibitors due to their formation of copper-flavonoid complexes. Thus, to investigate the underlying inhibition mechanism, a large group of flavonoids from several major flavones and flavonols were tested using fluorescence quenching spectroscopy. In addition, large differences in the tyrosina...

Tyrosinase inhibitory prenylated flavonoids from Sophora flavescens.

For the purpose of the development of a skin-whitening agent, Sophora flavescens was evaluated for tyrosinase inhibitory activity and its active principles were identified following activity-guided isolation. The ethanol extract and dichloromethane fraction from S. flavescens showed significant inhibition of mushroom tyrosinase. From the dichloromethane fraction, three known prenylated flavonoi...

Tyrosinase and Plant Respiration

The evidence presented in this paper supports the conclusion that at least 85 per cent of the oxygen uptake of the respiring tissue of potato tuber enters the chemistry of the cell by way of a tyrosinase-catalyzed oxidation. The qualitative aspects of this conclusion are in agreement with the claim made by Boswell and Whiting. However, the evidence offered by them in support of this conclusion ...
